The purpose of this award is to encourage and recognize an academic advisor who has demonstrated advising practices that go beyond minimum department expectations for academic advisement. 

Two $25 ARAMARK Gold Dollar Shout-Out Awards will be given out in the fall semester and two in the spring semester.

Some of the guidelines for the Shout-Out Awards include:

  • Advisors may not self-nominate
  • Must have served as an advisor for a minimum of one year
  • After earning a Shout-Out Award, advisors are not eligible again for three years
  • Fall nominations are due October 27, 2023
  • Spring nominations are due March 22, 2024
