The Missouri Western State University Regional Law Enforcement Academy will hold its Class #55 graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in Spratt Hall 101.

The current Law Enforcement Academy Class (#55) is tied with Class #42 as the largest class since July 2015. The current class is a true cross section of our community, including a culturally diverse group of men and women who have started the academy. These men and women complete approximately 800 hours of training approved by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the opportunity to sit for the state licensing exam to become a peace officer. The law enforcement academic and practical training includes: legal; first responder; emergency response; de-escalation; defensive tactics; and, weapons.
