FREE Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) Workshop – Quantitative Reasoning
Monday, October 7th – Thursday, October 10th
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Located in Murphy 109
There is no cost for the workshop, but we do request that you register by Friday, September 27. Registrations made after this date may be accepted based on availability.
The GRE General Test consists of three parts; Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. In this workshop, students will have the opportunity to review the four content areas that make up the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE General Test. The content in these areas includes Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Data Analysis.

- Monday – General Overview and Arithmetic

FREE MoGEA Preparation Workshop
Tuesday, October 29, 2019
2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Located in the Hearnes Library, Room 304
The MoGEA is required for all students with an ACT composite score of 19 and below who are pursuing admittance to the Missouri Western Teacher Education Department.
- 2 to 3 p.m. – Test Taking Strategies/Understanding the Format
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Careful Reading and Writing Preparations
Helps with English, Social Studies & Science portions of exam
- 4 to 6 p.m. – Math Review & Wrap Up
